Our visit to the vet this afternoon went well. We found out that this is probably going to be a 6-8 week process. She'll need to get her bandage changed at the vet every 2-3 days for a while, then it sounds like eventually they can show us what to do so we don't have to go in so often. So far she hasn't shunned us...
