Butterflies!

We finally made it to Como! We got there just after they opened at 10 this morning. The butterfly exhibit is very fun - we enjoyed it and plan to go again. Today at the zoo we also saw a Galapagos turtle training session, the Sparky show (Sparky the Sea Lion), and a momma duck with her ducklings living in a tub of water flowers in the shallow pool by the entrance. It was very cute. We had time to go through the Conservatory too, and the Japanese Garden.

Dottie's tail is doing well. She's on to dry bandages now! The photo is from a few days back when she had a red bandage from the U of M emergency vet. Now that our regular vet is wrapping her tail farther up instead of just the end, we haven't had any more trouble with bandages coming off. Yay!

Here's a deck garden photo. As I type this, Dottie is crouching over to the window because two canaries have landed between the flower boxes on the railing, just above the flower stand you see in the middle of the picture. How exciting! I'll post pictures of this later.....
