Yesterday we went to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival for the first time (two-for-one admission coupon - yay!). We got to see a glass blowing demonstration, a pewter molding demonstration, lots of crazy people selling pickles, fire/knife juggling, faeries, jesters, and lots of awesome hats.
A couple weeks ago we both won free tickets to a preview showing of Man on Wire - hilarious, really, that we both won. We decided later that everyone who entered won, since the theater wasn't packed. It was a neat documentary about Philippe Petit's adventure of illegally setting up and walking a high wire between the Twin Towers in New York in the 70's.
