Our mini road trip for free food was great fun. We had lots of time to chat with Skohn in the van, and the food was yummy. We ended up not getting to Art in Bloom this year... oh well. We'll go next year.
Plans for our trip to Alberta in June are coming together. (For anyone who doesn't know, we're flying out for Alfie's uncle's wedding.) We'll be leaving on Wednesday, June 25 and coming home on Monday, June 30. This time we hope to get to the Calgary Zoo and maybe also Devonian Gardens in downtown Calgary, which is one of the world's largest indoor gardens. Should be good.
We have a new restaurant on our favorites list. Buca di Beppo. Yum! Tomorrow we're going to take my parents there as a Mother's Day thing. The lasagna is wonderful...
