Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:16

A Park Every Weekend (week one)
The first park of our project to visit a park every weekend was one that's right in our area that neither of us had ever been to before. It is a fairly new trail, just opened in 2000, called the Reservoir Woods trail. "You can walk for miles in this 120-acre Roseville park and see little sign of development — just hilly terrain with lots of pine trees, wetlands, prairie grass, and savanna." (More here.) The section of the trail through pine trees has that wonderful pine smell. It's a really nice trail! We like it. We saw lots of the usual birds like robins, cardinals, and blue herons. But we also saw a couple new ones - the chestnut-sided warbler and the yellow-rumped warbler. They are pretty little birds, just migrating through headed farther north for the summer.
