We-no-nah

Last week we bought a canoe. So far we don't have a name for it, so feel free to make suggestions. "The Ottermobile" would be pretty funny... but it doesn't quite roll off the tongue.

Saturday we went to William O'Brien State Park for our first outing with our canoe. It was a chilly day. We saw blue herons, and piles of shells along the shore. An eagle was in a tree with his lunch, and some crows were picking on him so he flew off, carrying the chunk of meat with him in his talons. We saw a barred owl, too. It was a nice time - we like our canoe!
