Offer Wars

Tonight we're waiting to hear back on our latest (and final) offer on the house I posted some pictures of in the previous post. We made an offer on Tuesday night, they countered on Wednesday. We countered back and our realtor told their realtor (nicely) to give them a reality check about how much they expect to get for their house considering the prices similar houses on the street are getting right now. They countered back today, and we got the impression that their realtor thought they should have taken our offer. So we gave them our final offer this afternoon. We will probably hear tomorrow whether we get this house or go back to looking. As is probably to be expected, we are edgy tonight. We keep thinking, "What if we don't get it? ... What if we GET it??" Exciting times...
