Soon, possibly very soon, we are going to buy a house. Today we will be meeting with our mortgage broker. We have not seen him in person yet, and we're meeting at a coffee shop, so he described himself as, "6’5 and kinda goofy looking, can’t miss me!" Ha! He comes to us highly recommended, and working with him on paperwork (via email and his company's website) has been going well. We have a realtor lined up too - she is the wife of one of the contractors Alfie works with. So far I've been looking online at houses in our area, and we've driven by some of them. It will be fun to start going to look inside, too.
One of our requirements is that we be able to have a vegetable and flower garden. So, we want a decent-sized lot that isn't too shady for growing things...
