We tried a crazy looking fruit just for fun! It's called a kiwano - they're native to Africa, and the flavor is cucumber-banana. Mostly cucumber, in our opinion, though Alfie did get a little banana flavor at one point. The photo does not deceive you - it really is orange on the outside and green on the inside. We checked it out on the internet before cutting it open, or that would have been quite the surprise.
