This is a fun time of year. We get to see lots of out-of-the-ordinary birds coming through on their migration back north for the summer. Right now there is a flock of pelicans at Lake Vadnais, so of course we had to go see them yesterday. They are so huge and hilarious. It looks so awkward trying to sit and eat with that huge bill, crammed together with tons of other pelicans.
The school is giving me 12 transfer credits because of my AP Test scores from high school and the credits Bethel had given me based on them. That amounts to three classes I don't have to take to finish my degree, which saves me a term of school and the associated tuition. Yay!
Our second wedding anniversary is on Tuesday! I'm going to try making a pumpkin cheesecake. Backup plan: our favorite lemon cream cake from Byerly's.
